| | Caleb is the author of the Myrtle Beach Mysteries. A series of fast, fun, clean, and easy beach reads, including the critically acclaimed first novel, Death on the Boardwalk. The series centers on Clark Thomas who owns a bookstore on the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk. At the start of the series, he is stuck in a rut and still hasn't recovered from the sudden death of his wife. He finds the body of a local well-regarded businesswoman by the back door of his bookstore one morning. He gets mixed up in the investigation and tries to figure out who did it, but learns more than he bargained for along the way, which sets up the rest of the series. The book presents The Grand Strand in a good light and many people discover new places to eat and visit from reading them across the nation.
