Myrtle Beach, South Carolina Celebrates 56 Years of Rolling Out the Red Carpet for Canadian Visitors
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – March 8, 2017 – Historic Downtown Conway, Second Cup Coffee and the International Culinary Institute of Myrtle Beach are among the Myrtle Beach area sites hosting Canadian visitors during the 56th annual Canadian-American Festival – March 11 – 19, 2017.
From free "meet and greet" welcome breakfasts and event discounts, to a Festive Brass of Myrtle Beach Annual Can-Am Concert and complimentary shuttle service from Myrtle Beach to CanAm Days in Downtown Conway, Canadian visitors will receive royal treatment. "We have seen a growing number of Canadian visitors to the Myrtle Beach area, especially in the past decade," said Keith Pierce, public relations strategist for the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce/CVB. "The late winter and early spring seasons offer great incentives, such as mild weather, more affordable accommodations and more elbow room at area attractions."
Select Myrtle Beach area hotels, merchants and attractions are offering discounts through April 2017 for travelers with a valid Canadian passport. Some of the offers include:
