MEDIA STATEMENT
Following the passing of CCAR VP Government Affairs director, Nate Johnson, Brad Dean, president and CEO of the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce, issued the following statement:
"Nate Johnson was a passionate advocate for the real estate industry in every sense of the word. Having moved to the Myrtle Beach area in 2013, he set his sights on becoming an active leader in the Coastal Carolinas Association of Realtors. As VP Government Affairs director for CCAR, he was an ardent follower of politics at the local, state and national level, and kept a step ahead of legislation that could impact the real estate industry in our area. He was a gracious and optimistic leader. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends and employees of Coastal Carolinas Association of Realtors during this difficult time."
