Recently, BECS sent a party of consultants to #WOC in Las Vegas. Part of this effort is to spread the knowledge and to present what they learned, how to incorporate those lessons, and provide ideas for bettering our company. This is great for teaching employees how to present and explain technical topics both technically and to the layman. #WorldofConcrete #QualityControl #MakingSMEs

BECS is proud to see our members going above to enhance the industry. Bravo Frank and Team and let us know how we can support your efforts.
For the past couple of years I have found myself discovering more and more about the market share and talent pool within the Architectural Engineering realm. I have also noticed that the reported growth in the industry does not directly correlate with the growth of new talent. This is a problem that can be rectified by increased exposure at colleges and an increase in degree avenues throughout the county. I am happy to share that I will be working alongside Arjun Bir who has spearheaded the Council for Talent Development in Architectural Engineering with a solid vision and objectives. Other co-founders I am excited to work with include Sarah Lazar and Kristian Falkjar, E.I.T. My Alma Mater is Georgia Tech so I will be focusing my efforts there and locally within the Baltimore-Washington metro. You can see a summary below of what this council is all about. Our bi-weekly meetings begin at 1 pm EST starting April 1, 2024. We invite you to join us! Membership entails a nominal annual fee of $30 to cover operational costs, with exemptions for students and non-working individuals. We intend to foster a laid back, collaborative environment where new ideas are welcome. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to inspire students, network with industry leaders, and give back to the industry. The typical time commitment is 1 hour every 2 weeks, with opportunities to take up additional work outside of our meetings if your schedule permits. Message me if you are interested in becoming a member and I’ll send you a brief registration form along with a link to our meeting! See you soon!
