Meet Local, State Officials at Legislative Luncheon |

Members of the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce and others who wish to meet their local and state legislators are invited to a legislative luncheon from noon to 2 p.m. on Wed., Nov. 28, at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center (Ballrooms A-D).
Those attending the luncheon will have the opportunity to express their opinions and concerns with legislators. Officials scheduled to attend the event include Sens. Luke Rankin, Ray Cleary, Yancey McGill and Dick Elliott and Reps. Nelson Hardwick, Alan Clemmons, Thad Viers and William Witherspoon.
The luncheon also will feature information about the chamber’s 2008 legislative agenda. The chamber recently conducted a member survey to help determine legislative priorities for the coming year.
The luncheon is sponsored by the Horry Georgetown Home Builders Association and Coastal Carolinas Association of REALTORS. The cost to attend is $30 for chamber members and $40 for nonmembers.
