Event Description: 8 a.m.- 9 a.m.- Networking Breakfast Buffet (continental). 9 a.m.- 12 p.m.- (Keynote Address and Presentations). David Sheatsley, Director of Marketing Research at the U.S. Travel Association, will give an overview of current industry travel trends and provide an outlook on tourism nationally, as well as provide insight on how such trends may impact your marketing initiatives going forward. Chamber staff will provide attendees with a summary update on the 2009 marketing results and provide a look into 2010 advertising direction. Also provided will be an update on meetings and group travel and local research as it impacts the Grand Strand. SCPRT and Brandon Advertising will brief attendees on cooperative advertising opportunities. This event is free and open to all Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce members. (Ballroom ABC).
